Popular Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has turned a heartfelt pledge into reality by officially handing over a newly built home to four-year-old TikTok sensation Bridgette and her family.
The emotional handover took place in Mubende District, just five months after the artist made the commitment during his charity concert.
The promise originated on Boxing Day 2024 at Bebe Cool’s annual Tondeka E’Kiwatule concert, themed “Tondeka E’Kiwatule Tuzimbire Bridget Enyumba”. Inspired by Bridgette’s story and the tough conditions her family was enduring despite her social media fame, Bebe Cool vowed to construct a house for the young star.
Announcing the joyful development via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Bebe Cool wrote:
“Bridgette gets a new home. With the help of Allah, friends, and good-hearted people, I’ve handed my young friend, a talented young TikTok star, and her family the house I promised them in Mubende,”
Reflecting on the moment, the singer described the emotional weight of the journey:
“My heart is beaming with joy and gratitude.”
He went on to acknowledge the teamwork behind the project and appreciated the outpouring of support that made the dream come true:
“Thank you to everyone who contributed to this initiative; together we’ve not only given Bridgette shelter but have changed her life wholesomely.”
Among those he credited were his fans and several corporate supporters who stood with him:
“Thank you my amazing fans that attended the Tondeka E’Kiwatule event on Boxing Day 2024, thank you our partners Century Property Real Estates Uganda Limited, Erianah Hardware in Mubende, DT Solar, Goldvie, and the entire Gagamel family; we did this, we made a difference.”
