The Uganda Police Force has released the official list of successful candidates selected for training as Probationer Police Constables (PPCs) following a nationwide recruitment exercise.
According to a statement issued by the Police, the selection process followed a public advertisement made on March 10, 2025, and a series of interviews conducted between April 28 and May 5, 2025.
The shortlisted candidates are expected to report for training on July 7, 2025, at the Police Training Schools indicated against their names.

As part of their preparation, the selected trainees are required to report with a set of essential personal items to support their stay and participation in the residential training program.
The Shortlisted candidates are required to report with the following Items:
-Originals and photocopies of academic documents and National ID
-Four (04) passport size photographs
-Mattress (3×6, maximum 4 inches thick)
-Two (02) blue pens and three counter books
-Two (02) pairs of bed sheets
-Gumboots and canvas shoes
-Tracksuit and two T-shirts for physical training
-Mosquito net
-At least four (04) pairs of thick cotton stockings
-Plastic jerrycan (10 litres)
-Plastic basin/bucket
Personal effects: two bars of soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, towel, razor blades, spoon, fork, plate, cup, and six rolls of toilet paper
Ladies are also advised to carry at least two packets of sanitary pads
The Police congratulated the successful candidates and wished them the very best as they prepare to begin their journey in law enforcement.
“We congratulate all the successful applicants and wish you the very best during training,” the statement read.
This recruitment is part of the Uganda Police Force’s broader efforts to strengthen community policing and improve service delivery by bringing in well-vetted, disciplined, and motivated officers.
