Police at Jinja Road have launched an intensified search for Mukisa Precious Ssenge, a 15-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Banda B2 on June 21, 2025.

According to a statement issued by authorities, Mukisa was last seen in the Kyambogo area, but all efforts to trace him since then have yielded no success. A case of disappearance was officially filed at Jinja Road Police Station shortly after he was reported missing.

The police say Mukisa has a mental health condition that affects his speech, making it difficult for him to communicate clearly. His parents fear he may be vulnerable and unable to ask for help or explain his situation to strangers.

“We appeal to members of the public to assist in the search for this child and help reunite him with his family,” the statement reads.

Mukisa’s disappearance has left his family distraught. Desperate for answers, they are now turning to the public in hopes that someone may have seen or interacted with the teenager.

Anyone with information that may lead to locating Mukisa is urged to contact Jinja Road Police on +256 784 565511, or reach out directly to his parents on 0775 510520 or 0700 195996.

The public is requested to share any details, no matter how minor, that could help bring Mukisa home safely.
