Social commentator and businessman Frank Gashumba and his wife Patience Mutoni Malaika are celebrating the birth of their first child together.
Gashumba shared the joyful news during an appearance on Radio 4 on Monday morning.
“I am pleased to announce the arrival of our new child. Both my wife, Malaika, and the baby are in good health,” he said.
The couple, who formalized their union earlier this year with a traditional Gusaba ceremony held on May 15, 2025, at Mutoni’s family home in Ssembabule District, now begin a new chapter as parents.
Family and friends have since joined the couple in celebrating the milestone, with Gashumba describing the moment as one of the happiest in his life.
