Police Launch Manhunt for Musician Alien Skin Over Death of Former Fangone Forest Dancer

Musician Patrick Mulwana, known by his stage name Alien Skin, is currently a fugitive, wanted by police in connection with the murder of Wilfred Namuwaya, a former member of the Fangone Forest music group, also known as Top Dancer.

Namuwaya, who died last week after a brutal beating, was allegedly abducted from his home in Ndeeba on September 20, 2025, by Musomali, a known associate of Alien Skin. Police claim that the abduction was carried out on the orders of Alien Skin, who instructed his gang to “punish” Namuwaya for leaving the group without permission.

After the beating, Namuwaya was abandoned in Mpomba Zone and later rushed to Mulago Hospital by a Good Samaritan, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 22, 2025.

Police spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango confirmed the ongoing investigation.

“The suspects, including Alien Skin, orchestrated a violent attack on the victim. This is a serious matter, and we are determined to bring all involved to justice.”

This murder adds to Alien Skin’s growing list of controversies. In December 2024, he made headlines after an assault on security guards and medical staff at Nsambya Hospital.

A video emerged showing his gang attacking the hospital staff, leading to Alien Skin’s arrest. He was charged with robbery, including stealing an iPhone 15 Pro, Shs480,000 in cash, and a wallet belonging to Salim Mubiru.

The case is still pending, with a court date set for December 9, 2024.

Alien Skin’s arrest sparked debate in the music community. Fellow musician Pallaso initially came to his defense, saying, “Locking Alien up in prison won’t tackle the real problems faced by kids from the ghetto. The places they used to hustle from have been replaced by new buildings. Where do you think those kids have gone? They are the ones you see hanging around artists.”

However, tensions between the two artists escalated in early 2025. In January, Pallaso reportedly led a raid on Alien Skin’s Makindye home after an earlier confrontation in Buloba, Wakiso District.

Videos circulating on social media showed Pallaso’s group smashing property and injuring members of Alien Skin’s team. Alien Skin was reportedly forced to hide in the ceiling to escape the attack.

In addition to these incidents, Alien Skin has also been linked to political violence. In December 2024, he was accused of mobilizing gangs to attack National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters at their Makerere Kavule headquarters.

Now, as Alien Skin faces charges related to Namuwaya’s death, his notoriety continues to grow.

Police are urging the public to assist in locating him and his accomplices: Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo. SSP Onyango added, “The investigation is ongoing, and we urge anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts to come forward.”

Alien Skin’s alleged involvement in Namuwaya’s murder represents an alarming escalation in his already violent and controversial career, further fueling calls for justice and greater accountability in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
