According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the two are among suspects being held as detectives investigate what police have described as a case of aggravated robbery and murder that occurred on the night of February 3, 2026.
Owoyesigyire said the incident happened in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division, where the 24-year-old content creator lived alone in an apartment.

The deceased has been identified as Namulinde Diana, a 24-year-old businesswoman and social media content creator who was living alone in an apartment in Kyanja,” Owoyesigyire said.
The victim’s body was discovered the following day after friends, who had failed to reach her, went to check on her and found her apartment open.
“Her body was discovered on February 4, 2026 after friends went to check on her and found her apartment open,” Owoyesigyire added.
Police swung into action and arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen from the apartment. Some of the items were later identified as belonging to the deceased. A cleaner working at the premises was also picked up as part of the ongoing investigations.
“Earlier the same day, police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen. Some of the recovered items were later identified as belonging to the deceased,” Owoyesigyire said.
A team of homicide detectives and Scene of Crime Officers visited the scene, documented it and recovered several exhibits, while statements were recorded from people believed to have relevant information.
“So far, three suspects have been identified, and two have been arrested to assist with investigations,” Owoyesigyire noted.
The body of Diana Skyz was taken to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination as detectives continue to piece together what led to her death.
Police say investigations are ongoing as they work to establish the full circumstances under which the TikToker was killed.
