Uganda Police Reschedules Reporting Date for New PPC Recruits

The Uganda Police Force has pushed forward the reporting date for its latest batch of shortlisted candidates set to begin training as Probationer Police Constables (PPCs).

Originally expected to report on July 7, 2025, the recruits will now officially begin their journey into the Force on Friday, August 1, 2025.

“On 27/06/2025, we invited the shortlisted candidates for Probationer Police Constable (PPC) course to report for training on 07 July 2025,” Police said.

This update was confirmed in a statement issued by the Police on Thursday, where officials noted that while the original invitation went out on June 27, logistical changes have prompted the rescheduling.

Though no reason was explicitly provided for the postponement, the Force urged all selected candidates to take note and adjust their plans accordingly.

This recruitment and training program is part of a broader effort by the Uganda Police Force to enhance professionalism and strengthen its human resource base.

Through basic training programs like the PPC course, the Force seeks to instill discipline, technical skill, and service commitment in its new recruits.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the Police’s official communication platforms for any further updates or instructions.
