Police has confirmed the arrest of Buwembo Habib, the head of Mobilisation, Katabala Ronald and Nakakembo Josephine.
According to police, the three are currently in custody and will be arraigned before court in due course.
“The Uganda Police Force would like to confirm the arrest of Buwembo Habib, Katabala Ronald and Nakakembo Josephine. The three are currently in police custody and will be arraigned before court in due course,” Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SP Rachael Kawala said.
Police did not immediately disclose the reasons for the arrests or the charges the suspects are expected to face.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
